Assist and provide space
We aim to provide accessibility at the very moment of arrival to the festival, as well as at the venues and events. We would like to hear any comments or ideas you may have regarding the accessibility of the festival, as well as take into consideration any feedback or matters in need of improvement. Please, do not hesitate to ask for help, assistance, or further information! As a festival, we wish to be accessible for all.
There may be long waiting lines for the most wanted screenings, but our staff is more than happy to help you in case of issues related to long waits at the site.
An assistant is granted a free ticket, when accompanying a person with physical or visual impairments. The free ticket can be obtained from our box offices.
In Lapinsuu film theater our staff is located on the second floor. If you are in need of assistance when arriving or at the entrance, please contact us via the phone number found from the venue’s outdoor.
The festival info and the press office are located at the Kitisenranta school, which is accessed through stairs from the school yard. There is a phone number at the doors leading to the info and press office, in case you are in need of an accessible entrance.
Parking
There are reserved parking spots for people with disabilities, otherwise parking at the school yard is prohibited. One spot will be right at the entrance, at the end of the school building. More available parking spots are next to the pub tent.
Accessible toilets
In the school lobby, before the entrance to the theater, there is an accessible toilet. In addition, a temporary accessible toilet is located between the big tent and the end of the school building.
